A special rabbit marinade

There is definitely something about the rabbit meat, it is tender and tasty like nothing else. We breed our own ones and there is always something special about telling the visitors, they are going to eat something a bit unusual. That is what our life in the countryside is really like.

You will need:

1 rabbit

5 tbs of oil

1 tbs of honey

1 tsp of melasa

2 tbs of ketchup

1 tbs of diced garlic aprox.

2 tsp of salt

1 tsp of pepper

2 onions cut in quaters

1 whole garlic

1 cup of water

Method:

Mix all the ingredients into a marinade and then marinade the rabbit in the fridge for about a day, or at least a few hours. Preheat the oven for 170 degrees. And than bake the rabbit with onions, garlic and water covered for 2 to 2.5 hours. Your kitchen and whole house is going to smell divine. Serve the rabbit with squashed potatoes mixed with fried onions and bacon. And than, enjoy you ovations.
